C-Ax Anterior Cervical Retractor System
The C-Ax frame is fixed to the spine via distraction screws. The surgeon can take advantage of the rotating retractor blades to gain more oblique angles for decompression and to increase surgical access. Rotating retractor blades allows the surgeon to easily Relax the surrounding tissues without the frustration of repositioning seen with conventional systems. Minimal to no longus colli resection is required.
Multiple frame options are available for single and multi-level anterior cervical procedures. The C-Ax system has been designed to incorporate industry standard sized implants for anterior cervical fusions, total disc arthroplasty and anterior cervical corpectomies. Only two blade lengths are required to accommodate all patient sizes and anatomy.
The small C-Ax system is available as a disposable kit reducing inventory and problems with sterilization and eliminating the risk of prion infection (available on request only).
