The C-Ax Hybrid frame is fixed to the spine via distraction screws.  The surgeon can take advantage of the rotating retractor blades to gain more oblique angles for decompression and to increase surgical access.  Rotating retractor blades allows the surgeon to easily Relax the surrounding tissues without the frustration of repositioning seen with conventional systems.  Minimal to no longus colli resection is required.

Multiple frame options are available for single and multilevel anterior cervical procedures. The C-Ax Hybrid is ideal for anterior cervical plating where the retractor can be left insitu. Custom  and single piece frames are available for specific implants. Only two blade lengths are required to accommodate  all patient sizes and anatomy.

Only a small instrument set is required reducing inventory and cost for hospitals.

Reusable metal components are mixed with  disposable polymer components to provide the user friendliness of snap fit materials.

The C-Ax system  also has a range of accessories and tools including a Difficult Access frame for upper cervical,  odontoid and lower cervico-thoracic procedures.
