The Curvy Anterior Lumbar Retractor System uses bone fixation for stabilisation. Unique Left and Right two plane retractor blades are used to retract, improving stability and providing complete protection for the vessels during endplate preparation.

Curvy screws are used to compress the blades to the spine preventing retractor movement or  vessel creep into the surgical space.

The Anatomically  designed blades have  a smooth posterior surface prevent angular distortion of the vessels reducing vein bulging and the risk of thrombosis.

Curvy blades are available in Anodized Aluminium for increased rigidity. Several blade designs are available to suit the surgeons approach to the spine.

The Curvy Modular weight system can be used for additional retraction force obviating the need to fix the retraction system to the operating table for stability. Whilst in the majority of cases a ring system is not required a Curvy Ring system is available.  Modular handles allow the Curvy retractor system to fix to existing ring systems available on the market.  The system has a reduced inventory compared to conventional table mounted systems.
